Services We Provide
- Consultation: If you are experiencing symptoms that may indicate the need for endodontic treatment, we can determine what type of help you need.
- Non-Surgical Root Canal Therapy: A root canal is a routine procedure that removes the infected or inflamed pulp from the tooth's interior. The endodontist clears the infection and fills the tooth, capping the restoration with a temporary crown.
- Non-Surgical Root Canal Retreatment: Sometimes, dentists miss small amounts of infected material during a root canal procedure, and the tooth becomes painful again. Root canal retreatment repeats the procedure and removes stubborn particles.
- Apicoectomy (Endodontic Surgery): If the infection inside the tooth's root progresses to the very tip, it is easy for a dentist to miss it during a standard root canal. An apicoectomy removes and reseals the tip of the root (the apex) and treats the infection.
- Single-Tooth Internal Bleaching: Occasionally, root canals can discolor teeth. We can bleach these teeth from the inside to restore their youthful appearance.
- Internal Resorption: When teeth experience trauma, sometimes the cells inside malfunction and begin to break them down from within. We can diagnose and treat this problem by cleaning the root canals and removing the malfunctioning cells. We then seal and restore the tooth.
- Apexogenesis: This procedure helps underdeveloped or injured teeth form a strong and healthy root system. Endodontists often perform it on children.
- External Resorption: Resorption happens when the bone surrounding root structure starts to eat away the root. The bone thinks the nerve is diseased and tries to attack it. By removing the nerve it will stop the process. Resorption may mean your teeth easily chip, break, or turn brittle. It is a natural process for primary teeth, but certain medical conditions and dental trauma can trigger it in adults. We can treat your teeth using a root canal cleaning and a calcium hydroxide solution that stops the process.
- Apexification: This procedure treats underdeveloped or injured teeth. It involves introducing calcium hydroxide to the root canals to help the tooth harden and calcify. The procedure also includes cleaning the root canals and sealing the root tip.
- Laser Endodontics: The Fotona LightWalker Laser provides gentle, accurate, and safe treatment for many endodontic problems. Using a laser makes procedures more comfortable, more effective, and reduces healing times.

Our office can often accommodate same-day or next-day emergencies to get you the relief that you need. Referrals are not required.
